On January 28th, a group of New Vitae Wellness and Recovery residents enjoyed a bus trip to New York City. After supporting residents with planning and saving for several weeks, the group enjoyed the sights and sounds of New York. Many people in the group reported that it was their first time in the Big Apple. After touring Times Square and Rockefeller Center and making several stops to shop, the group was ready to share lunch. Everyone agreed to visit Ray’s Famous Pizza to share a Brooklyn style pie. Additional highlights of the trip included touring St. Patrick’s Cathedral, shopping at the M&M store, and watching the ice skaters on the plaza. The hustle and bustle of the city added to the fun of the experience. The group is excited to consider additional trips in the future!
