New Vitae Wellness and Recovery has increased options for services and payment and now is accepting OBRA and Community Health Choices (CHC) Waivers for payment to assist with service costs.  Each of the three waivers serves a specific population of Pennsylvania residents and can reduce costs to participate in Action Recovery supports.

OBRA waivers provide supports for individuals with developmental challenges, including individuals diagnosed with a disorder on the Autism Spectrum (Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Asperger’s, or Autism).  The OBRA waiver also can connect individuals with physical health concerns to safe, supportive services that may enable them to maintain their independence.

OBRA and (CHC) waiver programs assist individuals in finding linkages to effective, individualized supports.

“New Vitae Wellness and Recovery has served individuals with brain injuries, intellectual DisAbilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders for more than 30 years,” said Judith Yanacek, President and CEO.  “Now that we have been approved as a waiver provider for OBRA and CHC we are hopeful that more people in need of services will be afforded New Vitae Wellness and Recovery’s holistic care.”

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery’s Action Recovery services promote wellness for those who have been diagnosed with a brain injury, intellectual disability or an autism spectrum disorder.  Supports include Residential Habilitation, Structured Day, Cognitive Rehabilitation and Behavioral Therapy, and emphasize community inclusion.  Supported employment and one-to-one services also can be incorporated into an individualized plan of care.  Individuals interested in learning more about services through New Vitae Wellness and Recovery or who would like assistance with applying for OBRA or CHC Waivers are encouraged to contact our admissions department at 610-965-9021.
