New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is pleased to announce that President and CEO, Judith Yanacek, LCSW, has been named among the 2018 Women of Influence by Lehigh Valley Business. The awards celebrate female business leaders for their contributions to their companies, industries, and communities.
“As our corporate leader, Judy has facilitated compassionate care for our residents as well as direction and guidance for our organization,” said New Vitae Executive Administrator Donna Devlin. “Her ability to analyze healthcare and wellness trends, develop new services, and offer supportive supervision for our staff is incredibly valuable. Judy was perfectly qualified to be a nominee for a Lehigh Valley Business Women of Influence award, and we were happy to receive the news that she is one of the recipients of this prestigious award.”
Yanacek has been a member of the New Vitae Wellness and Recovery leadership team for more than 15 years. She has initiated or further developed a variety of New Vitae Wellness and Recovery’s clinical supports, benefitting individuals diagnosed with brain injury, veterans, and young adults. As a result of her direction, additional residential behavioral health supports have been established and the organization is able to offer deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (dTMS) services for treatment-resistant depression. In her free time, Yanacek also works with a group of local professionals and families to establish an academic recovery support service to help students who are challenged by addictions.
“I am honored to have been nominated for a Women of Influence Award,” Yanacek said. “It is a rewarding experience to assist our residents in their recovery goals and help our staff members achieve their career objectives.”
Yanacek and the other award winners were honored at a luncheon on May 9, 2018 at Cedar Crest College in Allentown.
