New Vitae Wellness Foundation invites you to attend our upcoming complimentary training entitled, “Heroin and Opioid Prevention and Education.” Lisa Wolff, Senior Manager of Special Programs for the Center for Humanistic Change, will be offering training to our community regarding the opioid crisis and ways to support individuals who may be challenged by addiction. In addition, participants will share the opportunity to explore a mock teen bedroom to learn more about ways that substances can be hidden from view. This experience can help families to open lines of dialogue with teens and young adults about the challenges associated with drug use.
The presentation will be offered at the West End Fire Hall, located at 1319 Park Avenue in Quakertown, PA. The event will begin at 1:30pm, with our presenter alternating presentations throughout the afternoon until 8:00 in the evening. The schedule is:
1:30 – 2:30: Mock Teen Bedroom Presentation
2:30 – 4:00: Heroin and Opioid Prevention and Education Presentation
4:00 – 5:00: Mock Teen Bedroom Presentation
