Each year, New Vitae celebrates our employees through staff spirit days, holidays, staff anniversaries, and offering gifts to teams as well as monthly awards for service. However, at the end of the year, New Vitae is honored to host the exceptional “Employee of the Year” awards, recognizing individuals that have remained dedicated to supporting both our residents and staff. We are happy to identify the following teammates as 2021’s Employee of the Year Award winners:
Emily Barone, Lead Clinician – Recovery Center
Tess O’Rourke, Neurocognitive Structured Day Program Manager – Action Recovery
Franklin Ozorio, Cook – Quakertown House
Michele Lengyel, Lead Billing Analyst – Administration
Nicole Campanine, Lead Medication Technician – Pathways
Matthew Sabella, Mentor II – Mount Trexler Manor
Hannibal Via, Mentor – Philadelphia RTFA’s
Two additional awards were given, the Iris Award and the Pride Award. The Iris Award, named for the flower that represents behavioral health, was given to Galexina Galarza, Director of Operations at Mount Trexler Manor. Galy assists residents and staff on a consistent basis while ensuring the safety of the environment at Mount Trexler Manor. Dependable, kind, and always willing to help, Galy’s efforts over the last year have helped to manage the pressures of the pandemic while ensuring safe peer to peer contact for our residents.
The Pride Award, presented to Andrew Amick, Director of Wellness at the Recovery Center, celebrates innovation and ownership of one’s work. Andrew remains dedicated to the holistic wellness of our residents and staff. He continues to offer assistance across the organization, working to ensure implementation of wellness activities and follow up with various physician offices. He also promotes the health of our residents by completing nursing assessments and providing assistance with stress management.
New Vitae is proud to be able to thank Galy and Andrew for their outstanding work!
From all of us at New Vitae: we hope that you and your family had a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year! We look forward to many more years of celebrating our staff and providing the best behavioral health, addiction, and brain injury services!
