New Vitae Wellness and Recovery's 34th Annual Cape May, NJ TripJune 25, 2018
New Vitae Wellness and Recovery residents and staff recently returned from our 34th annual trip to Cape May, New Jersey! As in past years, the trip was exciting from the drive down through the drive back. Participants were fortunate to stay at the Inn of Cape May again this year, which served as the space for fantastic lodging, welcoming staff, and the logistical space for planning each day’s events!
Cape May travelers enjoyed wonderful weather this year and had the opportunity to visit a variety of shore-point attractions, including Atlantic City and Wildwood, New Jersey. We frequented a number of local beaches before participating in a dolphin watch and even going for a swim in the ocean. Participants also enjoyed the pool and the theater and saw historic sites on a horse and buggy carriage ride. Some even braved the ghost trolley tour to hear all of the local legends! This year’s trip was lots of fun, and focused on continuing or rekindling all of the fantastic friendships we share among residents, staff, and local businesses!
The event was such a success that we are already booked for next year’s trip. We hope you enjoy some of the fun by looking at some of our photos!
