November 29, 2018

We are pleased to announce that Deborah Siderias, LCSW and Clinical Supervisor for New Vitae’s Recovery Center, has recently earned her CAADC—Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. For the last twenty years, Deborah has worked with people of all ages in a variety of settings, including foster care, outpatient, residential, and Partial Hospitalization programs. She has a wide range of experience with both behavioral health and substance use treatment supports.

Deborah specializes in working with individuals who encounter challenges due to anger, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, stress management, grief and loss, and trauma recovery. Deborah appreciates the importance of delivering therapeutic approaches that are grounded in evidence-based practices. She is a Certified Trauma CBT therapist and she utilizes a variety of interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Reality Therapy to assist clients in reaching their treatment goals. She works tirelessly to develop trusting relationships between service participants and their therapists.  Deborah feels strongly about the power of setting goals and identifying/celebrating small achievements towards those goals. As the Clinical Supervisor, Deborah works closely with New Vitae's team of therapists to enhance their therapeutic skills.  She looks forward to continuing to offer person-first clinical supports through our Quakertown Recovery Center.

Congratulations again, Deborah!

“I have been living here at Quakertown House for almost 23 years and to me Quakertown House is home, that kind of sums it up.”
