On November 18, 2015 New Vitae Wellness and Recovery was honored to be a major sponsor of the 4th Annual Benefit for the Brain presented by the Pennsylvania- Montgomery County National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) affiliate.  The Benefit for the Brain was held at the Philadelphia Marriott West in West Conshohocken with nearly 200 supporters in attendance.

Amongst the many well-known people in the behavioral health field was Dr. Monica Calkins of the University of Pennsylvania who was presented with the Annual Scientific Research Award which recognized her recent and significant research on First Episode Psychosis.  The Annual Impact Award was presented to the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania (MHA), for their efforts outside of medicine to promote the recovery of people with mental illness.  MHA was recognized in particular for their ongoing and pioneering efforts to promote peer support in the recovery from mental illness.

In addition to supporting the event with a monetary contribution, New Vitae Wellness and Recovery donated the professional photography.

New Vitae Clinical Director Armand DiYenno, member of the NAMI Pennsylvania-Montgomery County Board of Directors; Adam Devlin, Board Chair; Donna Devlin, Executive Administrator; Joseph Foderaro, one of the founders of the Sanctuary Model; and President and CEO Judy Yanacek were at the event demonstrating their support of persons with mental illness in the region and beyond.
